2. Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge base of Afrikan/Western Psychology as well as Afrikan/Western traditional healing systems and the terminologies that are associated with the subject.
3. Discuss how/why Afrikan/Black Psychology can be defined as the branch of wisdom and science that concerns itself with human functioning.

Medicalization of War Trauma: Who is served by this model? - PRESENTER: Mary Neal Vieten, PhD, ABPP

1. Identify and describe the ethical violations within the medical model as it relates to individual humans and the experience of trauma.
2. Assess the ethical conflicts and real-world consequences of failure to provide informed consent.
