ISEPP Annual Conference Individuals Matter:
Building a Better Science for Psychology and Psychiatry
October 7-9, 2016
CALL FOR PAPERS
The International Society for Ethical Psychology & Psychiatry, Inc. is accepting proposals for presentations at its annual conference. This year’s focus will be a critique of the current use of science in Psychology and Psychiatry and how we might build a better system for individuals. We invite submission of papers on a variety of topics including -
- The History of the Science of Psychology and Psychiatry
- A Critique of the Current Use of Science in Psychology and Psychiatry
- A More Useful Science of Psychology and Psychiatry: The Use of Case, Longitudinal, Qualitative, Phenomenological, Empirical and Other Approaches to Study the Experience of Individuals
- Approaches That Help Individuals Live Better Lives
- Trauma Informed Care, Resiliency, and Mind-Body PerspectivesThere will be a limited number of breakout sessions on Saturday and Sunday. All presentations will be 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration. Group and panel presentations are encouraged.

Note: LCD Projectors, Screens, and power cords will be provided. Presenters are expected to bring their own laptop as well as any necessary adaptors (e.g., for Apple products).
*Presenters are expected to register for and attend the conference.
